Unaffiliated Funds definition

Unaffiliated Funds means any Covered Funds other than Affiliated Funds.
Unaffiliated Funds and to transfer the Contract's cash value between funds and portfolios. The Fund and the Distributor agree to cooperate with Insurer in facili­ tating the operation of the Account and the Contracts as described in the prospectus for the Contracts, including but not limited to cooperation in facilitating transfers between Unaffiliated Funds. The Fund does not allow market timing, short-term trading, or other excessive trading into and out of the Fund. Insurer agrees to cooperate with the Fund, the Adviser, and the Distributor to prevent Contract Owners from market timing the Fund.

  • Applicants state that they may not rely on section 12(d)(1)(G) because a Series will invest in Unaffiliated Funds and securities other than government securities and short-term paper in addition to Affiliated Funds.

Related to Unaffiliated Funds

  • Related Fund means, with respect to any holder of any Note, any fund or entity that (i) invests in Securities or bank loans, and (ii) is advised or managed by such holder, the same investment advisor as such holder or by an affiliate of such holder or such investment advisor.

  • Regulated Funds means the Existing Regulated Fund, the Future Regulated Funds and the BDC Downstream Funds.

  • Affiliated has a correlative meaning.

  • Approved Fund means any Fund that is administered or managed by (a) a Lender, (b) an Affiliate of a Lender or (c) an entity or an Affiliate of an entity that administers or manages a Lender.

  • Affiliate of any specified Person means any other Person directly or indirectly controlling or controlled by or under direct or indirect common control with such specified Person. For the purposes of this definition, “control” when used with respect to any specified Person means the power to direct the management and policies of such Person, directly or indirectly, whether through the ownership of voting securities, by contract or otherwise; and the terms “controlling” and “controlled” have meanings correlative to the foregoing.

  • Consolidated Fund means the Consolidated Fund established by this Constitution;
