Umeme definition

Umeme means the company registered in Uganda in this name or its successor. “US Dollars” or “US $”: the lawful currency of the United States of America.
Umeme means ‘electricity’ in Swahili. It also stands for Understand, Measure, Evolve, Modify, Evaluate, a five step-process that African policy makers are invited to follow to increase renewable energy in their energy mix.
Umeme means the company registered in Uganda in this name.

Examples of Umeme in a sentence

  • Whilst Umeme endeavours to provide the AMR System error-free, the Customer acknowledges that no software is error-free and that the AMR System is provided to the Customer “as is”.

  • Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as creating a partnership or a contract of employment between the Customer and Umeme.

  • Save as expressly provided for in this Agreement, the Customer will not be, or deemed to be, an agent of Umeme and the Customer shall not hold itself out as having authority or power to bind Umeme in any way.

  • Use of the AMR System is entirely at the Customer’s own cost and risk and Umeme shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages whatsoever and howsoever incurred related to the use, misuse or inability to use the AMR System or the Customer Information, including but not limited to loss of profit and loss of data.
