Uber Platform definition

Uber Platform means Uber’s and its licensors’ (other than Joby’s) proprietary technology platform and set of resources, including servers, client devices, server software, client software, software user interfaces (for rider or operations), application programming interfaces (APIs) (including the Uber Services APIs), software development kits (SDKs), and developer tools, that enable service providers to integrate with and operate on the technology platform or facilitate the Uber Services, and that enable end-users of the Uber Apps to receive the Uber Services.

Examples of Uber Platform in a sentence

  • Uber hereby grants to Driver a personal, non-­‐exclusive, non-­‐transferable license, during the Term, to (i) install the Uber Driver App on a Personal Device and (ii) use the Uber Driver App on such Personal Device solely for the purpose of participating in the BYOD Program in connection with the Uber Platform.

  • Without limiting the generality of Section 9.2, Uber shall indemnify, defend and hold harmless the Company Indemnified Parties from and against any Third Party Claim (and shall indemnify and hold harmless the Company Indemnified Parties from any resulting Losses) arising out of or relating to any allegation of infringement by the Uber Services or Uber Platform of any Intellectual Property Rights of a Third Party.

  • An incident response plan for responding to an accident involving a Delivery Robot operating on the Uber Platform or any other serious incident involving (directly or indirectly) a Delivery Robot during a Project Plan, including which data will be made available to Uber following such an accident or incident.

  • To participate in the BYOD Program, Driver acknowledges and agrees that (i) the Personal Device used must meet the hardware and software requirements listed here ▇.▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ (including, without limitation, with respect to specific types of Personal Devices and phone carrier networks), as may be updated by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ from time to time in its sole discretion, and (ii) the Uber Driver App must be installed on the Personal Device solely for use as the interface with the Uber Platform.

  • If Driver elects to terminate the BYOD Program, Driver may continue to provide services in connection with the Uber Platform using a Rasier-­‐owned device, provided that Driver acknowledges that use of a Rasier-­‐owned device in connection with the Uber Platform may require the Driver to pay a weekly use fee.
