Turnkey Contractor definition

Turnkey Contractor means the party identified as contractor under the Turnkey Agreement.
Turnkey Contractor means Westinghouse, or such substitute contractor as may be engaged by the Partnership to complete construction of the Project.
Turnkey Contractor means Xxxx Hatlari ile Petrol Tasima A.S. (“BOTAS”), the Person so identified as a signatory to this Agreement, which is a state economic enterprise established as a joint state company in accordance with Turkish Law by the authority of decree no. 233 (dated February 8, 1995) and which is responsible for the obligations of the Turnkey Contractor under this Turnkey Agreement, and any successor or permitted assignee of such Person.

More Definitions of Turnkey Contractor

Turnkey Contractor means the Turnkey Contractor appointed by the Project Company under Clause 4.2.1; “UNCITRAL Rules” has the meaning given to that term in Schedule 15 (Disputes Resolution Procedure); “US Dollar Equivalent” means, in respect of any payment made or payable in Rupees on any Day, the amount of US Dollar required to purchase such amount of Rupees at the Reference Exchange Rate on such Day; “US Dollar Letter of Credit” has the meaning given to that term in Clause 8.7.1(i); “VAT” means the value added tax; “Wilful Default” means an intentional, wanton or reckless disregard by a party of the Laws of Sri Lanka or an obligation under this Agreement or the Transmission Agreement, as the case may be; “Works” means the permanent and temporary works required for the design, construction, completion and Commissioning of the Solar Park Facility or the Transmission Facility, as the case may be.

  • EPC Contractor means Seller’s engineering, procurement and construction contractor or such Person performing those functions.

  • Sub-Contractor means the person named in the Contract for any part of the works or any person to whom any part of the contract has been sublet by the contractor with the consent in writing of the Engineer-in-charge and will include the legal representatives, successors and permitted assigns of such persons.
