Trunked Radio System. County’s Trunked Radio Communications System, a major portion of which is used by police and fire rescue personnel within Broward County. County currently owns and operates a twenty-eight (28) channel 800 MHz trunked simulcast SmartZone radio system.
Trunked Radio System means a radio system employing trunking technology that provides the ability to search two or more available channels and automatically assign a user and open channel.
Trunked Radio System or “TRS” shall mean the 800 MHz Trunked Radio System utilized by the Parties and subscriber licensees. This definition excludes the individual Party’s Subscriber Units, dispatch consoles, and building distribution amplifiers.
