Transmission System Operator definition

Transmission System Operator means a natural or legal person responsible for operating, ensuring the maintenance of and, if necessary, developing the transmission system in a given area and, where applicable, its interconnections with other systems, and for ensuring the long-term ability of the system to meet reasonable demands for the transmission of electricity;
Transmission System Operator means National Grid as the operator of the Transmission System;
Transmission System Operator or “TSO” shall mean the party operating the Transmission System being in Belgium, Fluxys Belgium.

  • The Licensee shall furnish to the Transmission System Operator in such manner and at such times as may be required, such information as may reasonably be required, and which the Authority deems necessary, by the Transmission System Operator in order to comply with its obligations in relation to any authorised business or activity.

  • Upon the application of the Transmission System Operator or the Distribution System Operator wishing to question the terms offered pursuant to paragraph 1, the Authority may pursuant to Article 11(3)(c) of the Order, settle any terms of the agreement in dispute between the Transmission System Operator or the Distribution System Operator (as the case may be) and the Licensee in such manner as appears to the Authority to be reasonable.
