Transit operator definition
Transit operator means a person who operates a bus or other vehicle as part of a public mass transportation system.

ClipperSM Program means a unified fare collection and transfer system for the Transit Operators serving the people of the San Francisco Bay Area.
Transit operator means any transit district, included transit district, municipal operator, included municipal operator, or transit development board, as defined in Section 99210 of the Public Utilities Code, or a consolidated agency as defined in Section 132353.1 of the Public Utilities Code, or any joint powers authority formed to provide transit service.
