Train Fleet definition

Train Fleet means: (a) the rolling stock vehicles described in or required by Schedule 1.7 (The Train Fleet); and (b) any other rolling stock vehicles the Secretary of State consents to in accordance with paragraph 2 of Schedule 1.7 (The Train Fleet) from time to time;
Train Fleet means the rolling stock vehicles specified in or required by Appendix 1 (The Train Fleet) to Schedule 1.1 (Service Development) and any other rolling stock vehicles the Authority consents to in accordance with paragraph 15 of Schedule 1.1 from time to time;
Train Fleet means the rolling stock vehicles specified in or required by Appendix 3 (The Train Fleet) to the Franchise Specific Agreement, any other rolling stock vehicles the Secretary of State consents to in accordance with paragraph 13 of Schedule1.1 (Service Development) from time to time and any additional rolling stock vehicles funded by Additional Rolling Stock Investment; "Train Mileage" means, in relation to any period, the aggregate train mileage covered during such period by each train used in the provision of the Passenger Services (excluding, any train mileage covered as a result of positioning or other movements of rolling stock vehicles outside the Timetable); "Train Operator" means a franchisee or franchise operator, either of which operate railway passenger services pursuant to a franchise agreement or a Public Sector Operator; "Train Plan" means the plan of the Franchisee for the operation of trains and train formations under the Timetable prescribed as such in the Franchise Specific Agreement and any other train plan developed in accordance with Schedule 1.1, except that when used in Schedule 7.1 (Performance Benchmarks), it shall have the meaning given to it in paragraph2.15 of Schedule 7.1; "Train Presentation Specification Standard" means the Service Quality Standard in respect of the condition of rolling stock vehicles when presented for railway passenger service as at the date of the Franchise Agreement, or as amended by the Secretary of State and notified to the Franchisee from time to time in accordance with paragraph 2.8 of Schedule 7.2 (Service Quality Management); "Train Slots" shall have the meaning given to it in the Network Code; "Transfer Scheme" means a transfer scheme made by the Secretary of State under Section 12 and Schedule 2 of the Railways Act 2005 (or equivalent statutory provision) pursuant to paragraph 3.1 of Schedule 15.4 (Provisions Applying on and after Termination), being substantially in the form of Appendix 1 (Form of Transfer Scheme) to Schedule 15.4, but subject to such amendments as the Secretaryof State may make thereto as a result of any

Examples of Train Fleet in a sentence

  • The Franchisee shall ensure that any technology for determining the number of passengers travelling in each class of accommodation that is fitted on the Train Fleet remains operational and in good working order from the date that it is fitted throughout the Franchise Period.

  • The Operator shall be prohibited from distributing or permitting the distribution of any media material whatsoever (including newspapers, magazines, leaflets, coupons and flyers) at any of the Stations or on any rolling stock vehicle forming part of the Train Fleet without the prior consent of RfL.

  • For the avoidance of doubt the Franchisee may remove first class facilities from Vehicles should the Franchisee wish to remove such when there is no Route/Service requirement in Train Fleet Table 3 for such facilities.

  • The Franchisee shall by no later than 151 replace the remote condition monitoring system on 112 Units of Class 375 and 36 Units of Class 376 rolling stock, each forming part of the Train Fleet.

  • The Franchisee is at the Franchise Commencement Date a party to the Rolling Stock Leases in respect of the Train Fleet listed in Table 1 of Appendix 1 (The Train Fleet) to Schedule 1.1 (Service Development) of the Franchise Agreement, such Rolling Stock Leases to be on terms approved by the Authority.

  • The Franchisee shall use all reasonable endeavours to operate the Train Fleet to satisfy the class/route specific requirement for vehicle facilities/make-up detailed in Train Fleet Table 3 in Appendix 1 to Schedule 1.1.

  • It includes other requirements in relation to the Train Fleet including in relation to rolling stock testing and commissioning and compliance with the requirements of the Secretary of State in relation to the specification of the Train Fleet including in relation to baby changing facilities and Controlled Emission Toilets.

Related to Train Fleet

  • Train Slot has the meaning ascribed to it in Part D of the Network Code;

  • Spares means a part or a sub-assembly or assembly for substitution which is ready to replace an identical or similar part or sub-assembly or assembly including a component or an accessory;

  • Trainer means a dentist whose name is included in sub-part A of the first part of the dental list who employs a trainee as an assistant in accordance with paragraph 2 of this Determination;

  • Crew means the Master, officers and ratings of the numbers, rank and nationality specified in Annex “B” attached hereto.

  • Unmanned aircraft system means an unmanned aircraft and associated elements, including communication links and components that control the unmanned aircraft that are required for the pilot in command to operate safely and efficiently in the national airspace system.
