Tornado Watch means that conditions are favorable for tornado activity. A “Tornado Warning” means there is a distinct and immediate threat of a tornado. When the FLETC announces a Tornado Warning signal, a fast siren wail is sounded, followed by a verbal announcement that there is a Tornado Warning. Seek shelter immediately.
