Tier 2 engine definition

Tier 2 engine means an engine subject to the Tier 2 new engine emission standards in title 13, CCR, section 2423(b)(1)(A) and/or Title 40, CFR, Part 89.112(a). This also includes engines certified under the averaging, banking, and trading program with respect to the Tier 2 FEL listed in title 13, CCR, section 2423(b)(2)(A) and/or Title 40, CFR, Part 89.112(d).
Tier 2 engine means a certified compression-ignition nonroad engine according to the horsepower and model year as follows:
