The Shipper definition

The Shipper means the person who enters into a contract with the Carrier for a shipment and/or who has control of the goods delivered to the Carrier for shipment and who is in any event liable for the payment of freight, but also includes where the context permits any other person with an interest in the goods or any part thereof;

Examples of The Shipper in a sentence

  • The Shipper must pay the Service Charges, calculated and escalated in accordance with this document and the Annexures in the manner and at the times set out in this document.

  • The Shipper must provide or cause to be provided such pulsation dampening equipment as may be necessary upstream of any Receipt Point or downstream of any Delivery Point to ensure that any facilities do not cause interference with the accuracy of the Measuring Equipment due to non-uniform flow.

  • The Shipper shall not be released from liability under this F24-T Agreement unless Enbridge expressly releases the Shipper after having received satisfactory financial assurances from the third party.

  • The Shipper shall not in any event be entitled to any compensation whatsoever from GRTgaz or its insurers for any consequences of a reduction or interruption of services provided to the Shipper by GRTgaz pursuant to the Contract for the above-mentioned reasons.
