The Reviewer definition

The Reviewer means the Commission’s CEO, or another person, other than the original decision-maker, appointed by the CEO to undertake the internal review;

  • The Reviewer Checklist is intended for the sole purpose of assisting a company product filer ("User") in understanding the requirements of the applicable Uniform Standard(s) for IIPRC product filings.

  • Reviewer means the actuary engaged to review or repeat the first actuary’s work, and

  • Utilization review plan or "plan" means a written procedure for performing review.

  • Review Panel means the panel, if any, appointed pursuant toRule 710 to review a completed Investigation Report and to determine whether a reasonable basis exists for finding a violation of the Rules and authorizing the issuance of a notice of charge pursuant to Rule 706.

  • Review Meeting means a meeting to be held in accordance with clause B19 (Review Meetings) or as otherwise requested in accordance with clause B19.2 (Review Meetings)

  • Program Staff means an employee or individual who by contract with the program provides a service and has the applicable competencies, qualifications, or certification required to provide the service.

  • Utilization review means the prospective (prior to), concurrent (during) or retrospective (after) review of any service to determine whether such service was properly authorized, constitutes a medically necessary service for purposes of benefit payment, and is a covered healthcare service under this plan.   • Performance Review means a summative evaluation of a teacher other than a beginning teacher and used to determine whether the teacher’s practice meets school district expectations and the Iowa teaching standards, and to determine whether the teacher’s practice meets school district expectations for career advancement in accordance with Iowa Code section 284.7.

  • Medical Review Officer (MRO) means a licensed physician responsible for receiving and reviewing laboratory results generated by the school district’s drug testing program and for evaluating medical explanations for certain drug tests.

  • Asset Representations Review Agreement means the Asset Representations Review Agreement, dated as of the date hereof, between the Issuer, the Sponsor, the Servicer and the Asset Representations Reviewer.

  • Asset Review Quorum In connection with any solicitation of votes to authorize an Asset Review as described in Section 11.01(a), the Holders of Certificates evidencing at least 5% of the aggregate Voting Rights represented by all of the Certificates.

  • Independent review organization means an entity that is accredited to conduct independent external reviews of adverse benefit determinations.

  • Peer-reviewed medical literature means a published scientific study in a journal or other publication in which original manuscripts have been published only after having been critically reviewed for scientific accuracy, validity and reliability by unbiased independent experts, and that has been determined by the international committee of medical journal editors to have met the uniform requirements for manuscripts submitted to biomedical journals. Peer-reviewed medical literature does not include publications or supplements to publications that are sponsored to a significant extent by a pharmaceutical manufacturing company or health carrier.

  • Application Review Start Date means the later date of either the date on which the District issues its written notice that the Applicant has submitted a completed Application or the date on which the Comptroller issues its written notice that the Applicant has submitted a completed Application and as further identified in Section 2.3.A of this Agreement.
