the Period of the Hiring definition

the Period of the Hiring means the period specified in the Hiring Agreement during which the Premises are to be hired to the Hirer;
the Period of the Hiring means the dates specified on the booking form

Examples of the Period of the Hiring in a sentence

  • If the use of the Premises will involve the performance of any musical or dramatic works or the delivery in public of any lecture in which copyright subsists it will be the responsibility of the Hirer to obtain prior to the Period of the Hiring the consent of the owner of the relevant copyright and to pay all composers', authors', publishers' and other fees or royalties which may be payable in respect of the function.

  • The Hirer must supply to the College for approval (if so required) a copy of the programme of any entertainment to be given at the function not less than seven (7) days before the Period of the Hiring and must provide such evidence as the College may require of compliance with this Condition 12.

  • The Hirer must have in force throughout the Period of the Hiring a policy of public liability insurance effected with a reputable insurance company or with underwriters at Lloyds covering the Hirer for a sum of not less than £1,000,000 per claim and at the request of the College will produce to the College not later than 3 days prior to, or at any time during, the Period of the Hiring evidence of such policy.

  • The catering and bar facilities in Watersmeet will be made available to the Hirer during the Period of the Hiring at the discretion of the Venue Manager.

  • If requested by the School, the Hirer is to have in force throughout the Period of the Hiring, a policy of insurance effected with a reputable insurance company or with underwriters at Lloyd’s, covering the Hirer against third party risks for a sum of not less than £10,000,000 and at the request of the School will produce to the School not later than 3 days prior to or at any time during the Period of Hiring evidence of such policy.

  • Any complaint arising out of the hiring must be made in writing to the Council’s Booking Team, within 7 days after expiration of the Period of the Hiring.

  • If such notice is given more than one month prior to the Period of the Hiring, and if the School is able to effect an alternative hiring, then the Hirer will only be liable for the Administration Fee.

  • The Hirer if an individual must be eighteen years of age or over and must remain on site throughout the Period of the Hiring.

  • The maximum number of persons to be admitted to the School is not to exceed the number specified in the Agreement and during the Period of the Hiring, the Hirer must keep a note of the number of persons admitted and show the same on demand to any governor of the school.

Related to the Period of the Hiring

  • Period of Takaful means the period of Takaful shown in the Schedule.

  • Period of Service means the aggregate of all periods of service commencing with an Employee's first day of employment or reemployment with the Employer or an Affiliated Employer and ending on the first day of a Period of Severance, or for benefit accrual purposes, ending on the severance from service date. The first day of employment or reemployment is the first day the Employee performs an Hour of Service. An Employee who incurs a Period of Severance of twelve (12) months or less will also receive service-spanning credit by treating any such period as a Period of Service for purposes of eligibility and vesting (but not benefit accrual). For purposes of benefit accrual, a Participant's whole year Periods of Service is equal to the sum of all full and partial periods of service, whether or not such service is continuous or contiguous, expressed in the number of whole years represented by such sum. For this purpose, fractional periods of a year will be expressed in terms of days.

  • Period of Extended Hire means any additional period that the Hirer wishes the Agency Worker to be supplied for beyond the duration of the original Assignment or series of assignments as an alternative to paying a Transfer Fee;

  • Period of Work means the time during which an employee is at the disposal of the employer;

  • Period of restoration means the period of time that:

  • Period of Cover means the duration of Your cover as stated in Your Policy Documents.

  • Period of Agreement means 5 years from the date of Final acceptance of the Project.

  • Period of Employment shall include any extension thereof pursuant to the preceding sentence. Provision of notice that the Period of Employment shall not be extended or further extended, as the case may be, shall not constitute a breach of this Agreement and shall not constitute “Good Reason” for purposes of this Agreement. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Period of Employment is subject to earlier termination as provided below in this Agreement.

  • Period of Severance means a continuous period of time during which an Employee is not employed by the Employer. Such period begins on the date the Employee retires, quits or is discharged, or if earlier, the twelve (12) month anniversary of the date on which the Employee was otherwise first absent from service.

  • income-related employment and support allowance means an income-related allowance under Part 1 of the Welfare Reform Act 2007;

  • Minimum Period of Service means a period of 12 consecutive months beginning on the Service Start Date, unless set out otherwise in any applicable Order.

  • Reemployment Commencement Date means the date on which an Employee who terminates employment with the Employer and all Related Employers first performs an Hour of Service following such termination of employment.

  • Period of Coverage means the Plan Year, with the following exceptions: (a) for Employees who first become eligible to participate, it shall mean the portion of the Plan Year following the date on which participation commences, as described in Section 3.1; and (b) for Employees who terminate participation, it shall mean the portion of the Plan Year prior to the date on which participation terminates, as described in Section 3.2.

  • Service Period has the meaning given to it in Framework Schedule 4 (Template Order Form and Template Call Off Terms) as refined by a Contracting Body in a Call Off Agreement between that Contracting Body and the Supplier;

  • main phase employment and support allowance means an employment and support allowance where the calculation of the amount payable in respect of the applicant includes a component under section 2(1)(b) or 4(2)(b) of the Welfare Reform Act 2007 except in Part 1 of Schedule 1;

  • Number of Students Who Began the Program means the number of students who began a program who were scheduled to complete the program within 100% of the published program length within the reporting calendar year and excludes all students who cancelled during the cancellation period.

  • Number of Students Who Began Program means the number of students who began the program who are scheduled to complete the program within the reporting calendar year.

  • Employees working on the project means laborers, workers, and mechanics employed directly upon the site of work.

  • Employment Commencement Date means the date on which the Employee first performs an Hour of Service.

  • Plan Period means the period designated in Section 4.

  • Date of commencement of the project means the date of the agreement.

  • Period of Maintenance means the specified period of maintenance from the date of completion of the works as certified by the Engineer.

  • Extended Period As defined in Section 9.04(b).

  • COMMENCEMENT OF SERVICE means the actual date of placement of the first Vehicle(s) under this Agreement.

  • Hire Period means the period commencing when the Customer holds the Hire Goods on hire (including Saturdays Sundays and Bank Holidays) and ending upon the happening of any of the following events:

  • converted employment and support allowance means an employment and support allowance which is not income-related and to which a person is entitled as a result of a conversion decision within the meaning of the Employment and Support Allowance (Existing Awards) Regulations 2008;
