Examples of the Date of Practical Completion in a sentence
The Met Office reserves the right at any time during the carrying out of the Works and for a period of 6 years from the Date of Practical Completion to require the Contractor to produce the documentary evidence, and independent verification where applicable, required by clause 9.2.1, for the Met Officeís inspection within 14 days of the Met Officeís written request.
The Contractor shall ensure that all materials for use in connection with the Works for which the Met Office has paid become the property of the Met Office save that the Contractor shall remain responsible for any damage to such materials up to the Date of Practical Completion and where such materials are stored elsewhere than at the Location the Contractor shall ensure that they are protected, clearly separated and identifiable as belonging to the Met Office.
The Contractor agrees to provide the Met Office with a set of all Documents on the Date of Practical Completion and on request at any time to give the Met Office or any persons authorised by the Met Office access to the Documents and subject to the reimbursement by the Met Office of the Contractor's reasonable copying and delivery charges to provide copies of any of the Documents.
The Defects Notification Period will commence on the Date of Practical Completion and will continue for six (6) months (unless some other period is stated in the Special Conditions) or until the issue of the Final Completion Certificate.
During the period, from starting the Works to the Date of Practical Completion, alternatively the Contract’s termination, the Contractor must protect the Works ( Protection Period).
Defects Liability Period means the period commencing on the Date of Practical Completion and ending 52 weeks thereafter.
Upon the Superintendent issuing to the Contractor and Principal a Certificate of Practical Completion, the Contractor may issue to the Principal a tax invoice for an amount equal to 50% of the monies certified by the Superintendent as being held by the Principal as the Retention Sum as at the Date of Practical Completion.
Failure by the Contractor to provide with the Final Payment Claim such substantiation in respect of any event occurring before the Date of Practical Completion shall subject to Clause 23.5(2) and 23.6 bar the Contractor from advancing any claim for such an amount.
The Contractor's Representative shall be constantly on the Site during normal working hours and shall give his whole time to the superintendence of the Works including the remedying of any Defects after the Date of Practical Completion.
Ensure effectiveness reviews of corrective actions are performed to prevent recurrence.
