The Accountable Body definition

The Accountable Body is the body of officers with responsibility for the transfer of funding as defined in Schedule One.
The Accountable Body means the Local Authority appointed by the Partnership to exercise on the Partnership's behalf the duties and responsibilities conferred on an accountable body by any agreement entered into by the appointed accountable body and HM Government (including any organisation or body appointed established or controlled by HM Government) for any purpose connected with a Grant Funded Project
