Telematics Equipment definition

Telematics Equipment means equipment (including sensors in such equipment with no application outside of such equipment), and software utilized in such equipment, which is designed to be affixed to a Cargo Container for the purpose of (i) (a) tracking the movements and positions of such Cargo Container, (b) monitoring certain conditions relating to such Cargo Container and/or (c) controlling the temperature of and/or access to such Cargo Container, and (ii) communicating information regarding the foregoing clauses (i)(a), (i)(b) and (i)(c) exclusively via wireless mobile communication network and/or satellite communications.

  • Customer represents and warrants to Trailer Telematics that it has the rights, licenses, and/or permissions necessary to grant the license and use rights in Section 4.2 and to otherwise provide Customer Data to Trailer Telematics or allow the collection of Customer Data by Trailer Telematics in connection with Customer’s use of the Services and/or Customer’s Trailer Telematics Equipment.

  • If Customer does not notify Trailer Telematics of a sale or transfer of Customer’s Trailer Telematics Equipment, Trailer Telematics may continue to send reports or other information about the Trailer Telematics Equipment or the account to the address currently on file with Trailer Telematics.

  • In any case, any Buyer will be required to enter into a new agreement with Trailer Telematics for the Services that are subject to these Terms for the purchased or acquired Trailer Telematics Equipment.

  • Customer will comply with all applicable local, state, national, and foreign laws in connection with Client’s use of the Services and the Trailer Telematics Equipment.

  • Customer acknowledges and agrees that Trailer Telematics will be collecting technical data and related information transmitted by the Trailer Telematics Equipment as part of Customer Data (“Telematics Data”).

  • Neither Trailer Telematics nor any of its service providers has any obligation to inquire about the authority of anyone using Customer’s Trailer Telematics Equipment or Customer’s personally identifiable information that can be used to identify Customer’s account to request services for Customer’s Trailer Telematics Equipment.

  • Customer may have, as a result of its purchase of Trailer Telematics Equipment but not arising from these Terms, a limited warranty that includes the components in Customer’s Trailer Telematics Equipment.

  • The number of SMS messages Customer receives will vary depending upon activity involving the Customer Trailer Telematics Equipment.

  • Trailer Telematics does not promise uninterrupted or problem-free service in connection with any use of the Trailer Telematics Equipment.

  • The trials shall be carried out initially under no load conditions and on satisfactory completion of these, trials shall be repeated for various loads until the full rated load and operating range are covered.

Related to Telematics Equipment

  • Customer Equipment means hardware, software, systems, cabling and facilities provided by you and used in conjunction with the Equipment that we supply to you in order to receive the Services;

  • Supplier Equipment means the Supplier's hardware, computer and telecoms devices, equipment, plant, materials and such other items supplied and used by the Supplier (but not hired, leased or loaned from the Customer) in the performance of its obligations under this Call Off Contract;

  • Service Equipment means any equipment, Software, systems, cabling and facilities provided by or on behalf of Verizon and used to facilitate provision of the Services at a Customer Site. Ownership of the Service Equipment does not pass to Customer. Service Equipment does not include Verizon Facilities.

  • Distributor’s Equipment means the Fittings and Metering Equipment owned by the Distributor, the Distributor’s agent, or any other third party with whom the Distributor has contracted with for the use by the Distributor of the party’s Fittings or Metering Equipment that are from time to time installed in, over or on Consumer’s Premises;

  • Communications Equipment means the communications equipment of the Licensee and its affiliates, including, without limitation, cabinets, racks, electronic equipment and other similar equipment.

  • Telecommunications Equipment means equipment, other than Customer Premises Equipment, used by a Carrier to provide Telecommunications Services, and include software integral to such equipment, including upgrades.

  • New equipment means equipment for which, by the cut-off date, neither of the following events has occurred:

  • Customer Premises Equipment or "CPE" means equipment employed on the premises of a Person other than a Carrier to originate, route or terminate Telecommunications (e.g., a telephone, PBX, modem pool, etc.).

  • Supplier System means the information and communications technology system used by the Supplier in performing the Services including the Software, the Equipment and related cabling (but excluding the Customer System);

  • Standard equipment means the basic configuration of a vehicle which is equipped with all the features that are required under the regulatory acts of the Contracting Party including all features that are fitted without giving rise to any further specifications on configuration or equipment level.

  • Port Cargo Handling Equipment means rubber-tired gantry cranes, straddle carriers, shuttle carriers, and terminal tractors, including yard hostlers and yard tractors that operate within ports.

  • Contractor’s Equipment means all apparatus, machinery, vehicles and other things required for the execution and completion of the Works and the remedying of any defects. However, Contractor’s Equipment excludes Temporary Works, Employer’s Equipment (if any), Plant, Materials and any other things intended to form or forming part of the Equipment.

  • Fixed Equipment means any property affixed in any way to the Licensed Premises existing at the time Notice to Proceed is given, whose removal would damage the Licensed Premises.

  • Metering Equipment means all metering equipment installed at the metering points designated in the appropriate appendix to an Interconnection Service Agreement. Minimum State of Charge:

  • Electrical equipment means underground equipment that contains dielectric fluid that is necessary for the operation of equipment such as transformers and buried electrical cable.

  • Designated Equipment means either: (i) a server identified by serial number, or host I.D. on which the Licensed Materials are stored; or (ii) a computer or workstation, as identified by its serial number, host I.D. number or Ethernet address; to which the Licensed Materials are downloaded and Used only upon the issuance of a License Key. The Designated Equipment shall be of a manufacture, make and model, and have the configuration, capacity (i.e., memory/disk), operating software version level, and pre- requisite and co-requisite applications, prescribed in the Documentation as necessary or desirable for the operation of the Software.

  • Installation Site means the site at which the Product is originally installed.

  • Your Equipment means all equipment located after (downstream of) the point that electricity leaves the Meter at the premises which is used to take supply of or consume electricity except any Electricity Supply Equipment.

  • School equipment means a durable school-owned machine, equipment, or tool used by a student as part of an activity, course, or program in a secondary school and includes a saw or 3D printer. “School equipment” includes a saw or 3D printer.

  • Customer System means the Customer's computing environment (consisting of hardware, software and/or telecommunications networks or equipment) used by the Customer or the Supplier in connection with this Contract which is owned by or licensed to the Customer by a third party and which interfaces with the Supplier System or which is necessary for the Customer to receive the Services;

  • Capital Equipment means machinery and equipment purchased or leased, and used in this state by the purchaser or lessee primarily for manufacturing, fabricating, mining, or refining tangible personal property to be sold ultimately at retail if the machinery and equipment are essential to the integrated production process of manufacturing, fabricating, mining, or refining. Capital equipment also includes machinery and equipment used primarily to electronically transmit results retrieved by a customer of an online computerized data retrieval system.

  • Customer Systems means the Customer's information technology infrastructure, including computers, software, hardware, databases, electronic systems (including database management systems) and networks, whether operated directly by Customer or through the use of third-party services.

  • Installation Works means, as the context so requires,

  • Leased Equipment means the equipment which may include but not limited to modem provided by TM on lease basis to enable usage of the Service by the Customer, as may be decided by TM from time to time at its sole discretion.

  • Associated equipment means equipment that is used in conjunction with a radiographic exposure device to make radiographic exposures that drives, guides, or comes in contact with the source, e.g., guide tube, control tube, control (drive) cable, removable source stop, “J” tube and collimator when it is used as an exposure head.

  • Stand Alone System Upgrade Facilities means System Upgrade Facilities that a Developer may construct without affecting day-to-day operations of the New York State Transmission System during their construction. NYISO, the Connecting Transmission Owner and the Developer must agree as to what constitutes Stand Alone System Upgrade Facilities and identify them in Appendix A to this Agreement.
