  1. Telematics Equipment means equipment (including sensors in such equipment with no application outside of such equipment), and software utilized in such equipment, which is designed to be affixed to a Cargo Container for the purpose of (i) (a) tracking the movements and positions of such Cargo Container, (b) monitoring certain conditions relating to such Cargo Container and/or (c) controlling the temperature of and/or access to such Cargo Container, and (ii) communicating information regarding the foregoing clauses (i)(a), (i)(b) and (i)(c) exclusively via wireless mobile communication network and/or satellite communications.
