Telecourse definition

Telecourse shall refer to an implementation of distance learning that combines commercially produced written materials and audio/video materials (via cassette or other audio/video distribution systems) with instructor oversight through additional orientation, presentation, class discussion, individual consultation, course homepage, and evaluation.

Examples of Telecourse in a sentence

  • Telecourse class size maximums shall be in accordance with the contractual limits.

  • Regular Telecourse: A course taught with licensed broadcast video and printed material that may be supplemented with additional assignments created by the instructor.

  • Instructors will be compensated for developing and revising courses in the self-paced and Telecourse modes.

  • Telecourse instruction will no longer be offered after Fall 2014.
