Definition of Taxes and Royalties

  1. Taxes and Royalties means all taxes (other than income taxes), royalties or other charges or imposts provided for pursuant to any law or legal obligation imposed by any government in connection with the Joint Operation if paid by the J.V. Company. 2.3 Wherever used in this Appendix II, "Gross Receipts" means the aggregate of all receipts, recoveries or amounts received by or credited to the J.V. Company in connection with the Joint Operation including, without limiting the generality of the foregoing: (a) the receipts from the sale of the concentrates derived from the Minerals produced from the Mine; (b) all proceeds received from the sale of the Property or Assets subsequent to the Operative Date;
