Task Forces definition

Task Forces means groups established to execute tasks linked by a common S/T objective identified in the Consortium Annual Work Programme. The Leadership of each Task Force is appointed by the General Assembly upon proposal of the Programme Leader and is responsible to the Programme Leader for the scientific and technical coordination of the corresponding Task Force. The Terms of Reference for a Task Force Leader are given in Annexes.

Examples of Task Forces in a sentence

  • The Chair, in consultation with the Steering Committee, shall appoint necessary Task Forces to accomplish projects of limited duration.

  • Task Forces may be established, by mutual agreement to investigate specific problems or concerns and seek solutions to these problems or concerns.

  • If consensus cannot be reached, the CDMT and its Task Forces will report key points from multiple perspectives to the Board.

  • The Policy Committee may establish such other Committees and Task Forces as deemed appropriate for the effective and efficient operation of this MPO.
