Target Investment definition

Target Investment means an investment which, if made by the Partnership, would be made in a start-up or early-stage company located in Illinois, would require an initial investment of $2,000,000 or less, would not violate the Diversification Limit, would not cause the assets of the Partnership to be treated as "plan assets" under ERISA, would not require a capital investment in excess of the remaining Capital Commitments of the Partners and would be in the best interests of the Partnership as determined by the General Partner in its reasonable discretion.
Target Investment has the meaning given to such term in the Sub-Advisory Agreement.
Target Investment. LETTERS shall have the meaning given to it in Section 7.2(g). TARGET OPTIONS shall have the meaning given to it in Section 6.9.

More Definitions of Target Investment

Target Investment means an investment of Company funds in the form of a loan to be utilized for the Target Project.
Target Investment means any loan or other investment (i.e., a commercial real estate financial asset other than a loan), the opportunity for which develops on or after the date hereof, with respect to which the Company has purchased or has made or intends to make a commitment or offer to purchase and for which the Company has determined to obtain co-investors to originate and fund or acquire all or any portion of the loan or other investment.
Target Investment shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 7.1(a).
Target Investment means a potential Portfolio Investment that is: (i) primarily a supermarket-anchored retail property or other retail-anchored property; (ii) comprised of at least 50,000 square feet of gross leaseable area, provided that this subparagraph (ii) shall not apply to any supermarket-anchored retail property; (iii) located in Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania or Virginia; and (iv) not part of a larger portfolio primarily comprised of real estate properties that include properties that are not in one of the States listed in subparagraph (iii) above; provided however, except for the redevelopment of existing supermarket-anchored or other retail-anchored properties, a Target Investment for purposes of this Section 7.1 only shall not include any potential Portfolio Investment that requires ground-up construction of substantially all of the improvements to be located on the applicable site. Target Investment means, a first or second lien loan with a target return (including the stated interest rate, end-of-term payments, origination fees, warrants, success fees and other similar fees) of at least 14% to a development-stage company with a loan-to-value ratio of less than 65% or such other potential investments as the Board from time to time may deem to be Target Investments.

Related to Target Investment

  • Net Investment means (i) as it relates to the Stockholders, the total amount of Gross Proceeds raised in all Offerings; and (ii) as it relates to the Limited Partners (other than the General Partner in its capacity as a Limited Partner) the total amount of Capital Contributions.

  • Minimum Investment means an investment in the project of at least two and one‑half million dollars within the investment period. If a county has an average annual unemployment rate of at least twice the state average during the last twenty‑four month period based on data available on the most recent November first, the minimum investment is one million dollars. The department shall designate these reduced investment counties by December thirty‑first of each year using data from the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce and the United States Department of Commerce. The designations are effective for a sponsor whose fee agreement is signed in the calendar year following the county designation.
