Tallyman definition

Tallyman means an employee who by measuring and calculating quantities keeps an account of timber and does not include one who merely measures lengths of timber or merely counts timber by pieces.
Tallyman means a person with the necessary skill engaged to measure and/or grade sawn timber in a timber yard;
Tallyman means a Cree person recognized by a Cree community as responsible for the supervision of harvesting activity on a Cree trapline.
