sustainable mining means and includes carrying out mining operation conforming to conditions stipulated in clearances and permissions accorded for mining by various authorities and without damaging the ecology and environment of the State;

Successful northern-owned as well as joint-owned service industries have taken root. Creating a flexible and competent work force in the north is a multi-year process.
