Surgical procedures means those procedures identified by the nonprofit organization designated
Surgical procedures. – means instrumental treatment of injuries and disorders of the body including laparoscopic, endoscopic and arthroscopic surgery. In all cases, the surgical procedure must be included on UniMed’s List of Approved Surgical Procedures. “Surgery” and “surgical” have corresponding meanings.
Surgical procedures means any invasive procedure to the body, either by incision or entry into a natural body cavity, to preserve or to remove with minimal risk, diseased or injured organs, tissues, etc., but primarily restricted to the management of problems and injuries that would not require hospitalization.
