During the life of this Agreement, the State will not designate an incumbent employee into the Supervisory Bargaining Unit unless there has been a change of duties.
An employee, who moves, for the first time, into the Supervisory Bargaining Unit by promotion, upward reallocation, redesignation, upward reassignment, or lateral transfer, on or after July 1, 2005, shall receive a salary increase of eight percent (8%) regardless of the number of pay grades involved.
The classifications shown in Attachment A are included within the Supervisory Bargaining Unit.
Work normally performed by employees in the Supervisory Bargaining Unit shall not be contracted out or assigned to Seaway personnel outside the Unit if this would result in the reduction of salary or the lay-off of employees in the Unit.
