  • Sunday Market desires to obtain from the Town and the Town desires to provide to the Sunday Market, the use for part of the day on certain Sundays, of the parking lot area immediately to the south of the Town Hall located at ▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇, to allow Sunday Market to conduct a weekly farmers’ market for the purposes of furthering economic development consisting of supporting local agriculture and promoting the health and welfare of the people of Taos and the surrounding communities.

  • Sunday Market also shall assure that vendors, in setting up or taking down their stands, as well as in selling their goods, do not block the public right-of-way that provides access to the Town’s Public Library and shall not otherwise unreasonably impede access to the Library or unreasonably interfere with parking for Library patrons.

  • Sunday Market will assure compliance by all persons who sell goods at the Market with all applicable health, safety and other regulatory requirements, including those set by the New Mexico Environment Department and the Town of Taos.

  • Sunday Market may not make any alterations or improvements to the property.

  • ASSOCIATION will ensure that its use of the parking area east of Heritage Square will be fully cleared by 8:00 p.m., August 13, 2022, and ready for use by Sunday Market.

  • Sunday Market shall exclude from services counted toward its rental obligation any services that are paid for from governmental sources.

  • In the event that the Sunday Market violates any term of this Agreement, the Town may consider Sunday Market to have breached the Agreement and in the sole option of the Town may either terminate the Agreement as provided below or negotiate a cure of the default with the Sunday Market.

  • The Sunday Market is exempt from certain requirements of the Town’s Business License and Regulations Title of the Town Code, pursuant to Sections 5.04.010, 5.08.010, and 5.12.230 thereof so long as it complies with Chapter 5.20 of the Code.
