Fill means the addition of soil, sand, rock, gravel, sediment, earth retaining structure, or other material to an area waterward of the OHWM, in wetlands, or on shorelands in a manner that raises the elevation or creates dry land.
casual vacancy means a vacancy occurring otherwise than by efflux of time in the office of a councillor an alderman or in any other elective office;
Applicant’s Qualified Property means the Qualified Property of the Applicant to which the value limitation identified in the Agreement will apply and as more fully described in EXHIBIT 4 of this Agreement.
Temporary Vacancy a vacancy in a position caused by the regularly assigned employee being absent from duty or temporarily assigned to other duties.
Removal means a removal for disciplinary reasons from the student’s current educational placement other than a suspension and change in placement to an interim alternative educational setting (IAES) ordered by an impartial hearing officer because the student poses a risk of harm to himself or herself or others.
Appointed Director means a person appointed in accordance with these bylaws as an appointed director or appointed as a replacement director for an appointed director;
Vacant lot means a subdivided residential or commercial lot which contains no buildings or structures of a temporary or permanent nature.
Preferred Directors means, collectively, the Series A Directors and the Series B Director.
Initial appointment means appointment made otherwise than by promotion or transfer;
Qualified Property has the meaning set forth in Section 313.021(2) of the TEXAS TAX CODE and as interpreted by the Comptroller’s Rules and the Texas Attorney General, as these provisions existed on the Application Review Start Date.
New Directors means any director whose election by the Board or whose nomination for election by the Company's stockholders was approved by a vote of at least two-thirds of the directors then still in office who were Present Directors or New Directors.
Power of appointment means a power that enables a powerholder acting in a nonfiduciary capacity to designate a recipient of an ownership interest in or another power of appointment over the appointive property. The term does not include a power of attorney.
Preferred Director means any director of the Company that the holders of record of the Preferred Stock are entitled to elect pursuant to the Company’s Certificate of Incorporation.
(4) SECRETARY.—The term Secretary’ means
Graffiti remover means a product labeled to remove spray paint, ink, marker, crayon, lipstick, nail polish, or shoe polish, from a variety of noncloth or nonfabric substrates. “Graffiti Remover” does not include “Paint Remover or Stripper,” “Nail Polish Remover,” or “Spot Remover.” Products labeled for dual use as both a paint stripper and graffiti remover are considered “Graffiti Removers.”
Appointment Date shall have the meaning specified in Section 9.02(a).
Excluded Appointments means those Appointments designated from time to time as "Excluded Appointments" by agreement of the parties.
Disqualification means the Athlete’s results in a particular Competition or Event are invalidated, with all resulting Consequences including forfeiture of any medals, points and prizes;
General power of appointment means a power of appointment exercisable in favor of the powerholder, the powerholder's estate, a creditor of the powerholder, or a creditor of the powerholder's estate.
Filling means any depositing or stockpiling of earth materials.
NSW contestable service means a connection service that is contestable under the jurisdictional electricity legislation of NSW, because that legislation permits the service to be provided by more than one supplier as a contestable service or on a competitive basis.
Probationary appointment means an appointment which is without continuing appointment status and which is neither a soft money nor non-renewable fixed length appointment. Probationary appointees may be removed subject to the provisions of this Article; Article 7,
Vacant means the dwelling lacks the necessary amenities, adequate furnishings, or utilities and services to permit occupancy of the dwelling as a residence.
Permanent Secretary means the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry responsible for Health;
Member of the Service means a person appointed in a substantive capacity under the provisions of these rules and orders/rules in force previous to the commencement of these rules, to a post in the cadre of the service.
