Successor Index Sponsor definition

Successor Index Sponsor means (i) any successor sponsor acceptable to the Calculation Agent or (ii) the Index Sponsor in circumstances where the relevant Index has been replaced by a successor Index using, in the determination of the Calculation Agent, the same or a substantially similar formula for and method of calculation as used in the calculation of that Index.
Successor Index Sponsor means any entity that succeeds an Index Sponsor in respect of the Reference Index and continues calculation and publication of the total return and price return versions of the Reference Index, provided that such successor is acceptable to CIBC.
Successor Index Sponsor means, in respect of an Index Sponsor, any successor in title or corporation(s) or other entity/ies that, in the determination of the Calculation Agent, (i) is/are responsible for setting and reviewing the rules and procedures and the methods of calculation and adjustments, if any, related to the Index and (ii) announces (directly or through an agent) the level of the Index on a regular basis during each Index Business Day;

Examples of Successor Index Sponsor in a sentence

  • In these Conditions, a “Business Day” shall be a day on which the SGX-ST is open for dealings in Singapore during its normal trading hours and banks are open for business in Singapore and an “Index Business Day” shall be a day on which the Index is published by the Index Sponsor or, as the case may be, the Successor Index Sponsor and where the Index closes at the normal trading hours.

  • Index Sponsor means, in respect of an Index, the corporation or other entity that (i) is responsible for setting and reviewing the rules and procedures and the methods of calculation and adjustments, if any, related to such Index and (ii) announces (directly or through an agent) the level of such Index on a regular basis during each Scheduled Trading Day or any Successor Index Sponsor, as defined in Condition 13 (Adjustments).

Related to Successor Index Sponsor

  • Successor Index means any substitute index approved by the Calculation Agent as a Successor Index pursuant to Section 3 hereof.

  • Index Sponsor means the sponsor or publisher of an Index.

  • SOFR Index means, with respect to any U.S. Government Securities Business Day:

  • Successor Rate means a successor to or replacement of the Original Reference Rate which is formally recommended by any Relevant Nominating Body.

  • LIBOR Index means the British Bankers Association's (BBA) one (1) month LIBOR Rate for United States Dollar deposits, as displayed on the LIBOR Index Page used to establish the LIBOR Index Rate.

  • SOFR IndexEnd means the SOFR Index value on the day which is five U.S. Government Securities Business Days preceding the Interest Payment Date relating to such Interest Period (or in the final Interest Period, the Maturity Date).

  • Successor Master Servicer The meaning ascribed to such term pursuant to Section 8.02.

  • Successor Operator means a Train Operator succeeding or intended by the Secretary of State to succeed (and whose identity is notified to the Franchisee by the Secretary of State) the Franchisee in the provision or operation of all or any of the Franchise Services including, where the context so admits, the Franchisee where it is to continue to provide or operate the Franchise Services following termination of the Franchise Agreement;

  • Successor Manager Any Independent Contractor as selected or retained by the Special Servicer, on behalf of the Trustee for the benefit of the Trust and the Companion Loan Holders, to serve as manager of a Foreclosed Property, which designation, as evidenced by written confirmation from each Rating Agency, shall not result in the downgrade, withdrawal or qualification of the ratings assigned to the Certificates by such Rating Agency.

  • Successor Benchmark Rate means a successor to or replacement of the Original Benchmark Rate which is formally recommended by any Relevant Nominating Body.

  • SOFR Index Cessation Event means the occurrence of one or more of the following events:

  • Successor Holdings has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 6.03(a)(v).

  • SOFR Index Cessation Date means, in respect of a SOFR Index Cessation Event, the date on which the FRBNY (or any successor administrator of the SOFR), ceases to publish the SOFR, or the date as of which the SOFR may no longer be used.

  • OBFR Index Cessation Event means the occurrence of one or more of the following events:

  • OBFR Index Cessation Date means, in respect of an OBFR Index Cessation Event, the date on which the FRBNY (or any successor administrator of the OBFR), ceases to publish the OBFR, or the date as of which the OBFR may no longer be used.

  • Index Provider means, in respect of a Sub-Fund, the person responsible for compiling the Index against which the relevant Sub-Fund benchmarks its investments and who holds the right to licence the use of such Index to the relevant Sub-Fund as set out in the relevant Appendix.

  • SOFR Index Cessation Effective Date means, in relation to a SOFR Index Cessation Event, the date on which the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (or any successor administrator of the daily Secured Overnight Financing Rate) ceases to publish the daily Secured Overnight Financing Rate, or the date as of which the daily Secured Overnight Financing Rate may no longer be used;

  • Successor Person has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 6.03(b)(i).

  • OBFR Index Cessation Effective Date means, in relation to an OBFR Index Cessation Event, the date on which the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (or any successor administrator of the daily Overnight Bank Funding Rate) ceases to publish the daily Overnight Bank Funding Rate or the date as of which the daily Overnight Bank Funding Rate may no longer be used;

  • Successor personal representative means a personal representative, other than a special administrator, who is appointed to succeed a previously appointed personal representative.

  • Successor Institutional Trustee has the meaning set forth in Section 4.3(a).

  • €STR Index Cessation Event means the occurrence of one or more of the following events, as determined by the Issuer and notified by the Issuer to the Calculation Agent:

  • successor in business means any company which, as a result of any amalgamation, merger or reconstruction: (a) owns beneficially the whole or substantially the whole of the undertaking, property and assets owned by the Issuer immediately prior thereto; and (b) carries on, as successor to the Issuer, the whole or substantially the whole of the business carried on by the Issuer immediately prior thereto.

  • Successor in Interest means any (i) shareholder of; (ii) trustee, custodian, receiver or other person acting in any Bankruptcy or reorganization proceeding with respect to; (iii) assignee for the benefit of the creditors of; (iv) officer, director or partner of; (v) trustee or receiver, or former officer, director or partner, or other fiduciary acting for or with respect to the dissolution, liquidation or termination of; or (vi) other executor, administrator, committee, legal representative or other successor or assign of, any Partner, whether by operation of law or otherwise.

  • LIBOR Successor Rate has the meaning specified in Section 3.03(c).

  • €STR Index Cessation Effective Date means, in respect of an €STR Index Cessation Event, the first date on which €STR is no longer provided by the European Central Bank (or any successor administrator of €STR), as determined by the Issuer and notified by the Issuer to the Calculation Agent;
