Structured Note definition

Structured Note means an MTN with characteristics which differ from or include some or all of the characteristics of Amortised Notes, Fixed Rate Notes, Floating Rate Notes, Indexed Notes or Zero Coupon Notes.

Structured Note means any structured note issued by the Bank under a Programme, which you agree to subscribe for or purchase from the Bank and which is designated by the Bank to be governed by these Terms and Conditions Governing Structured Products from time to time;

Examples of Structured Note in a sentence

• The Calculation Agent must, as soon as practicable after determining the Interest Rate in relation to each Interest Period for each Floating Rate Note and interest bearing Structured Note, calculate the amount of interest payable for the Interest Period in respect of the outstanding principal amount of that Note.

• The Investment Restrictions will apply on the issuer of the Structured Note and also on its underlying assets.

• The Interest Rate payable in respect of an interest bearing Structured Note must be determined in the manner specified in the Pricing Supplement.

• The past performance of any Reference Item should not be taken as an indication of the future performance of that Reference Item during the term of any Structured Note.

• If the value of the Reference Item(s) does not increase, or decreases, as the case may be, before such Structured Note is redeemed, part of the investor’s investment in such Structured Note may be lost on such redemption.

More Definitions of Structured Note

Structured Note means a Note in relation to which the Interest Amount and/or the Redemption Amount is determined in accordance with a formula set out in Condition 2 of the Additional Terms and Conditions of the Notes, as specified in the applicable Final Terms.
