Structural Failure definition

Structural Failure means the loss of the load-carrying capacity of a component or member within a structure or of the structure itself. Structural failure is initiated when the material in a structure is stressed to its strength limit, thus causing fracture or excessive deformations;
Structural Failure means actual physical damage to the load-bearing portion of a residence caused by a failure of the load-bearing portion.
Structural Failure means actual physical damage to the load-bearing portion of a residence caused by a failure of the load-bearing portion or a load bearing element of the Home to function in accordance with standards generally accepted by builders who constructed similar homes in the same or similar areas at the time the Home was originally built.

Examples of Structural Failure in a sentence

  • Owner shall notify Lonza of the Structural Failure as soon as reasonably possible.

  • This Warranty only applies to Dricon FRTW that experiences Structural Failure.

  • Dricon FRTW that has not experienced Structural Failure, but that is part of a structure in which certain other Dricon FRTW has experienced Structural Failure, is not covered by this Warranty.

  • No parts or primary system components is covered in the event damaged or destroyed by Acts Of God including but not limited to; Fire, Flood, Rain, Hurricane, Lighting, Tornado or any damage or operational interruption to equipment as the result of; Laying Water, Structural Failure, Rodents, Vandalism, Terrorism, Power Outages (Brownouts, Power Surges, Intentional Shut-off), Operator Error or Telephone Company or Network transmission line outage or failure.

  • This Wood fence warranty is limited but not restricted to the following conditions: • Structural Failure caused by rot, fungal decay or termites.

  • The Manufacturer warrants the Pool against leaking due to Structural Failure, as defined below, caused by faulty workmanship or materials used in the manufacturing of the Pool shell for as long as the original Buyer at retail owns the Pool.

Related to Structural Failure

  • MI Failure means when an MI report: a) contains any material errors or material omissions or a missing mandatory field; or b) is submitted using an incorrect MI reporting Template; or c) is not submitted by the reporting date(including where a Nil Return should have been filed);

  • Service Failure means an unplanned failure and interruption to the provision of the Goods and/or Services, reduction in the quality of the provision of the Goods and/or Services or event which could affect the provision of the Goods and/or Services in the future;
