Structural Biology Services definition

Structural Biology Services means structural biology activities to be performed by Evotec under this Agreement as specified in the Project Description(s), including e.g. crystallization, X-ray analysis or NMR analysis.

Structural Biology Services means the activities undertaken by Evotec under this Agreement to elucidate Structures which activities may include one or more of the following: (i) protein engineering; (ii) protein production (including protein construct design, molecular biology, protein expression in bacteria, insect and mammalian cell lines); (iii) protein purification; (iv) protein characterization (including Western blot, SDS PAGE and mass spectroscopy); (v) protein ligand binding analysis (including thermal shift of protein melting point, CD, NMR and ITC); (vi) protein crystallization (including apo protein and protein complexes); (vii) protein crystal mounting; (viii) protein crystal diffraction data analysis (in-house data collection and management of synchrotron data collection); and (ix) protein structure elucidation and refinement.

Examples of Structural Biology Services in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Evotec shall be free to perform Structural Biology Services on the Public Domain Target either alone with no ligands bound or within complexes with any ligands other than Compounds owned or Controlled by the Client.

  • The Foundation shall, in accordance with this Section 6(b) and Section 8(c)(iv) of this Agreement, reimburse Evotec for the actual costs incurred by Evotec to for data collection related to the performance of Structural Biology Services requiring synchrotron data collection; provided, that, the Steering Committee has agreed to Evotec conducting such synchrotron data collection activities (any such agreement to be set forth in the applicable Steering Committee meeting minutes).

  • For clarity, the spatial pattern of a crystallized Target or complexes of such Target with Compounds characterized (“Structures”) e.g. by X-ray analysis or NMR analysis generated from the performance of Structural Biology Services under this Agreement shall be considered Project IP.

  • In particular, the Parties further acknowledge that it is not possible for Evotec to guarantee that the performance of (i) the Structural Biology Services will generate any Structures; (ii) the Assay Development Services will result in the development of a useful Assay; or (iii) the Profiling Services and Screening Services will generate any Hits.

  • Subject to Section 6(b) of this Agreement this Agreement, the Foundation shall reimburse Evotec for all costs incurred by Evotec for synchrotron data collection related to the performance of Structural Biology Services requiring synchrotron data collection (including any travel, lodging and meal expenses incurred by Evotec’s personnel in the performance of such synchrotron data collection (collectively, the “Synchrotron Data Collection Costs”).

  • Evotec hereby agrees that (A) unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Foundation, all travel and lodging for employees of Evotec performing specific Structural Biology Services shall be arranged through the Foundation and (B) all travel, lodging and meal expenses expenditures shall be in accordance with the Foundation’s travel, lodging and meal expense policies and procedures.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, in case the Target is a Public Domain Target but a Compound is owned or Controlled by the Client, Evotec shall be free to perform Structural Biology Services on such Target on compounds other than the Compound owned or Controlled by the Client.

  • In case and as long as the Target and/or the Compounds are exclusively owned or Controlled by the Client, Evotec will not perform Structural Biology Services to Third Parties on such Target and/or Compounds.

  • For the avoidance of doubt, in case the Target is a Public Domain Target but a Compound is owned or Controlled by the Novo Nordisk, Aptuit shall be free to perform Structural Biology Services on such Target on compounds other than the Compound owned or Controlled by the Novo Nordisk.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, Aptuit shall be free to perform Structural Biology Services on the Public Domain Target either alone with no ligands bound or within complexes with any ligands other than Compounds owned or Controlled by the Novo Nordisk.

Related to Structural Biology Services

  • Architectural services means those services described as the "practice of architecture," as defined in K.S.A. 74-7003, and amendments thereto.

  • Pharmacist services means products, goods, and services, or any combination of products, goods, and services, provided as a part of the practice of pharmacy.

  • DEVELOPMENTAL SERVICES means therapies, typically provided by a qualified professional using a treatment plan, that are intended to lessen deficiencies in normal age appropriate function. The therapies generally are meant to limit deficiencies related to injury or disease that have been present since birth. This is true even if the deficiency was detected during a later developmental stage. The deficiency may be the result of injury or disease during the developmental period. Developmental services are applied for sustained periods of time to promote acceleration in developmentally related functional capacity. This plan covers developmental services unless specifically listed as not covered.

  • Infrastructure Improvements means a street, road, sidewalk, parking facility, pedestrian mall, alley, bridge, sewer, sewage treatment plant, property designed to reduce, eliminate, or prevent the spread of identified soil or groundwater contamination, drainage system, waterway, waterline, water storage facility, rail line, utility line or pipeline, transit-oriented development, transit-oriented property, or other similar or related structure or improvement, together with necessary easements for the structure or improvement, owned or used by a public agency or functionally connected to similar or supporting property owned or used by a public agency, or designed and dedicated to use by, for the benefit of, or for the protection of the health, welfare, or safety of the public generally, whether or not used by a single business entity, provided that any road, street, or bridge shall be continuously open to public access and that other property shall be located in public easements or rights-of-way and sized to accommodate reasonably foreseeable development of eligible property in adjoining areas.   • Green building strategies means those strategies that minimize the impact of development on the environment, and enhance the health, safety and well-being of residents by producing durable, low-maintenance, resource-efficient housing while making optimum use of existing infrastructure and community services.

  • Clean coal technology demonstration project means a project using funds appropriated under the heading “Department of Energy—Clean Coal Technology,” up to a total amount of $2,500,000,000 for commercial demonstration of clean coal technology, or similar projects funded through appropriations for the Environmental Protection Agency. The federal contribution for a qualifying project shall be at least 20 percent of the total cost of the demonstration project.

  • Infrastructure means infrastructure serving the County and improved or unimproved real estate and personal property, including machinery and equipment, used in the operation of the Project, within the meaning of Section 4-29-68 of the Code.
