Examples of Street Trading in a sentence
The Council are responsible for licensing Street Trading (including permanent and temporary pitches, pavement cafes, shop front displays and A-Board’s) under the London Local Authorities Act 1990 (as amended).
The service also carries out a wide range of associated functions including Health and Safety, Infectious Disease Investigations, Street Trading Consents and Events.
The Licensing Committee are also asked to note that as of April 6th 2017, Street Trading licence fees will no longer be payable at the time an application is made.
In financial year 2015/16 the total revenue generated from Street Trading was £103,470.
Street Trading licence fees will be set and reviewed from time to time by the Council and any changes to those fees will be advertised in accordance with the provisions of the Act.
