State of certified range definition

State of certified range. (SOCR) means the measured or on-board electric range at a specific point in its lifetime, expressed as a percentage of the certified range.

rand value means the total estimated value of a contract in Rand, calculated at the time of bid invitation, and includes all applicable taxes;

B-BBEE status level of contributor means the B-BBEE status of an entity in terms of a code of good practice on black economic empowerment, issued in terms of section 9(1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act;
bid means a written offer in a prescribed or stipulated form in response to an invitation by an organ of state for the provision of goods or services, through price quotations, advertised competitive bidding processes or proposals;
B-BBEE means broad-based black economic empowerment as defined in section 1 of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act;
EME means an Exempted Micro Enterprise in terms of a code of good practice on black economic empowerment issued in terms of section 9 (1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act;
Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act means the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act, 2003 (Act No. 53 of 2003);
Contract means the agreement that results from the acceptance of a bid by an organ of state;
Person means any individual, corporation, limited liability company, partnership, joint venture, association, joint-stock company, trust, unincorporated organization or government or any agency or political subdivision thereof.
Services means those functional services ancillary to the supply of the goods, such as transportation and any other incidental services, such as installation, commissioning, provision of technical assistance, training, catering, gardening, security, maintenance and other such obligations of the supplier covered under the contract.
QSE means a qualifying small business enterprise in terms of a code of good practice on black economic empowerment issued in terms of section 9 (1) of the Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment Act; (j) “rand value” means the total estimated value of a contract in Rand, calculated at the time of bid invitation, and includes all applicable taxes;
functionality means the ability of a tenderer to provide goods or services in accordance with specifications as set out in the tender documents.
Federal office means the Animal, Plant and Health Inspection Service, United States Department of Agriculture, Federal Building, Des Moines, Iowa 50309.
the Commonwealth means the Commonwealth of Australia as the party to this agreement;
State of principal use means the state on whose waters a vessel is used or to be used most during a calendar year.

Principal Office means, when used with respect to the Depositary, the principal office of the Depositary at which at any particular time its depositary receipts business shall be administered, which, at the date of the Deposit Agreement, is located at 388 Greenwich Street, New York, New York 10013, U.S.A.
