standing committee member definition
standing committee member means a member of Council who has been appointed by Municipal Council to serve on one of the following committees: the Civic Works Committee, the Community and Protective Services Committee, the Corporate Services Committee, the Planning and Environment Committee and the Strategic Priorities and Policy Committee. Members of Council may be appointed to one or more of said committees.
