Standard network interface (SNI) definition
Standard network interface (SNI) means the pro- tector that generally marks the point of interconnection between company communications facilities and customer's terminal equipment, protective apparatus, or wiring at a cus- tomer's premises. The network interface or demarcation point is located on the customer's side of the company's protector, or the equivalent thereof in cases where a protector is not employed.
