In the event that the supervisor responsible for dealing with the grievance is absent, the University will appoint an alternative officer to handle the supervisor's responsibilities as outlined in the Standard Grievance Procedure.
The Captain or Chief Engineer shall acknowledge receipt and reply to the grievance by completing and returning to the griever a duly completed Standard Grievance Form (if available) within five (5) days of receipt of grievance.
