Staff Liaison Officer definition

Staff Liaison Officer shall refer to the member of the Board of Directors designated to liaise with the Union in the absence of the Executive Director, and to perform the functions of the Executive Director when the role is vacant. If the staff liaison officer is unable to fulfill their duty, the staff liaison officer in an emergency situation or the Board of Directors may designate someone to fulfill that role.
