Spouse or Surviving Spouse means, except as otherwise provided in the Plan, a person who is the legally married spouse or surviving spouse of a Participant.
Spouse or Surviving Spouse means, with respect to a Participant, the person, if any, who is treated as married to such Participant under the laws of the U.S. or foreign jurisdiction that sanctioned such marriage, as determined pursuant to the Code and ERISA.
