Sports Field definition

Sports Field means an outdoor area designed and intended for use in a specific sporting event and includes soccer fields, baseball diamonds, tennis courts, and similar areas but does not include golf courses;

Sports Field means any area, not on property with a residential use, or vacant and eligible for a residential use, as defined in the City’s zoning by-laws, whether or not delineated by lines, that is designated as a playing surface, and includes any adjacent seating area or stands;

Sports Field means land within the City and controlled by the City which is set apart and used for the playing of a sport including baseball diamonds, field hockey or cricket pitches, and rugby, soccer or football fields, disc golf and court sports;
