Spiritual Services definition

Spiritual Services means those services that help patients and/or caregivers to integrate the dying experience into his/her life; to find meaning and purpose in what remains of life, and to further his/her appreciation of spiritual values that give support and hope in coping with the changes that are taking place.
Spiritual Services means those services that support patients’ and families’ spiritual values or sacred values associated with their belief system, which give comfort in coping with issues accompanying a terminal illness.

  • A health facility that provides comprehensive rehabilitation services utilizing, among others, any of the accepted modalities: Multidisciplinary Team Approach, Therapeutic Community Approach and/or Spiritual Services towards the rehabilitation of a drug dependent.
