Specified Educational Program definition

Specified Educational Program means a program at a post-secondary school level of not less than three consecutive weeks duration that requires each student taking the program to spend not less than 12 hours per month on courses in the program.
Specified Educational Program has the meaning ascribed to such term in subsection 146.1(1) of the Tax Act which defines a specified educational program as a program at a post-secondary level of not less than three consecutive weeks duration that requires each student taking the program to spend not less than 12 hours per month on courses in the program;
Specified Educational Program means a program at a post-secondary school level of not less than three consecutive weeks duration that requires each student taking the program to spend not less that 12 hours per month on courses in the program.

  • Notwithstanding (a) above, an Educational Assistance Payment may be made to or for a Beneficiary at any time in the six-month period immediately following the particular time at which the Beneficiary ceases to be enrolled as a student in a Qualifying Educational Program or a Specified Educational Program, as the case may be, if the payment would have complied with the requirements of (a) above had the payment been made immediately before such particular time.

  • The Subscriber agrees that, prior to the enrolment of the Beneficiary in any Post-Secondary Program of Study or Specified Educational Program, the Subscriber and/or the Beneficiary will ensure that such a program is provided at a Recognized Institution.


More Definitions of Specified Educational Program

Specified Educational Program means a program at a post-secondary school level of not less than three consecutive weeks duration that requires each student taking the program to spend not less than twelve hours per month on courses in the program at a post-secondary educational institution.
