Special Supplemental Benefit definition

Special Supplemental Benefit means the benefit determined under Section 4.4.
Special Supplemental Benefit means benefits payable under this Plan as determined in accordance with Section 3.06.

Examples of Special Supplemental Benefit in a sentence

  • Eligible Participants under the Plan shall receive an Excess Benefit, Pension Make-Whole Benefit or Special Supplemental Benefit, in the amount and payable at the times set forth in the following provisions of this Article 4.

  • Effective as of January 1, 2005, the time and form of payment of any Special Supplemental Benefit shall be specified by the Administrative Committee at the time the Administrative Committee establishes the Participant’s right to the Special Supplemental Benefit.

  • Anything else contained herein to the contrary notwithstanding, no person shall have any right to a Special Supplemental Benefit in the absence of a written instrument setting forth the terms of such Special Supplemental Benefit.

  • Participant means an employee of a Participating Employer who is eligible for an Excess Benefit, Pension Make-Whole Benefit or Special Supplemental Benefit, as set forth in Section 3.1.

  • To the extent permitted by Section 4.4, an Employee not otherwise eligible to participate in the Plan may be eligible to receive a Special Supplemental Benefit.

  • A Participant’s Benefit means the sum of the Participant’s Excess Benefit, Make-Whole Benefit, and Special Supplemental Benefit, if any, unless otherwise provided.

  • Any Special Supplemental Benefit provided pursuant to this Section shall be subject to, and paid in accordance with, the terms and conditions of this Plan, including without limitation Section 3.04.

  • Anything else contained herein to the contrary notwithstanding, the Administrative Committee at any time in its sole discretion may distribute to any Participant the entire actuarial present value of his Benefit (including any Special Supplemental Benefit) in a single lump sum in full satisfaction of his rights under the Plan, provided that the entire interest of the Participant in all other plans required to be aggregated with the Plan pursuant to Treas.

  • Notwithstanding any other provisions of the Plan to the contrary, any payment deferral election made pursuant to Section 3.04(ii) shall be made not less than 12 months prior to the Valuation Date on which payment of such Supplemental Benefit or Special Supplemental Benefit otherwise would have commenced without such deferral election and such election shall not take effect until at least 12 months after the date on which such election is made.

  • Any additional Supplemental Benefits to which such Eligible Executive may become entitled following reemployment shall be determined and paid, independent of any other Supplemental Benefit or Special Supplemental Benefit, in accordance with the terms and conditions of this Plan, including Section 3 and Subsection 4.03.

Related to Special Supplemental Benefit

  • Supplemental Benefit means the monthly benefit payable to the Executive under this Agreement.

  • Supplemental Retirement Benefit means the benefit determined under Article V of this Plan.

  • Death Benefit means the insurance amount payable under the Certificate at death of the Insured, subject to all Certificate provisions dealing with changes in the amount of insurance and reductions or termination for age or retirement. It does not include any amount that is only payable in the event of Accidental Death.

  • Plan Benefit means the benefit payable to a Participant as calculated in Article V.

  • Supplemental Retirement Plan means (i) the Company’s Amended and Restated Supplemental Executive Retirement Plan, (ii) the Company’s Supplemental Management Retirement Plan, (iii) the Company’s Amended and Restated Top Hat Restoration Plan, and (iv) the Company’s Defined Contribution Restoration Plan.

  • Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit means an annual amount (before taking into account federal and state income taxes), payable in monthly installments throughout the Payout Period. Such benefit is projected pursuant to the Agreement for the purpose of determining the Contributions to be made to the Retirement Income Trust Fund (or Phantom Contributions to be recorded in the Accrued Benefit Account). The annual Contributions and Phantom Contributions have been actuarially determined, using the assumptions set forth in Exhibit A, in order to fund for the projected Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit. The Supplemental Retirement Income Benefit for which Contributions (or Phantom Contributions) are being made (or recorded) is set forth in Exhibit A.

  • Pre-Retirement Survivor Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 6.

  • Retirement Benefit means the benefit set forth in Article 5.

  • Early Retirement Benefit means the retirement benefit payable to a member following early

  • Special benefit means a particular and distinct benefit over and above general benefits conferred on real property located in the district or to the public at large. General enhancement of property value does not constitute “special benefit.”

  • Public benefit means making capital available, or facilitating the availability of capital, to businesses in this state that have 750 or fewer employees, the intent of which is to create or retain employment opportunities for residents of this state, stabilize or increase the tax base of this state, or support the redevelopment of facilities for use by small businesses.

  • Monthly Benefit means the monthly amount payable by Liberty to you if you are Disabled or Partially Disabled.

  • Actuarial equivalent means a benefit of equal value when

  • Individual retirement account means a trust, custodial arrangement, or annuity under Section 408(a) or (b), Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (26 U.S.C. Section 408 (1986)).

  • Projected Annual Benefit means the annual retirement benefit (adjusted to an actuarial equivalent straight life annuity if such benefit is expressed in a form other than a straight life annuity or Qualified Joint and Survivor Annuity) to which the Participant would be entitled under the terms of the Plan assuming:

  • Retirement Benefits means benefits paid by reference to reaching, or the expectation of reaching, retirement or, where they are supplementary to those benefits and provided on an ancillary basis, in the form of payments on death, disability, or cessation of employment or in the form of support payments or services in case of sickness, indigence or death. In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;

  • Annual Benefit means an annual sum of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) multiplied by the Applicable Percentage (defined below) and then reduced to the extent required: (i) under the other provisions of this Agreement; (ii) by reason of the lawful order of any regulatory agency or body having jurisdiction over the Employer; and (iii) in order for the Employer to properly comply with any and all applicable state and federal laws, including, but not limited to, income, employment and disability income tax laws (eg., FICA, FUTA, SDI).

  • Supplemental Payment means any payments or transfers of things of value made to the District or to any person or persons in any form if such payment or transfer of thing of value being provided is in recognition of, anticipation of, or consideration for the Agreement and that is not authorized pursuant to Sections 313.027(f)(1) or (2) of the TEXAS TAX CODE, and specifically includes any payments required pursuant to Article VI of this Agreement.

  • Net Benefit means the present value of the Covered Payments net of all federal, state, local, foreign income, employment and excise taxes.
