Special Process definition

Special Process means a process that is specifically designated as such by Tesla, which may include, but is not limited to, causing a metallurgical change to the base material such as heat treating, forging or hardening processes; joining materials by welding, brazing, or other bonding process; or providing a coating or surface treatment such as cleaning, electro-polishing, plating, painting, or anodizing. Upon Tesla’s request, Supplier will use (and cause Sub-tier Suppliers to use) only one or more of the designated suppliers.

Special Process means the Contractor’s documented and demonstrated techniques to achieve the requirements of this Part.

Special Process means a process that is specifically designated as such by Applied, which may include, but is not limited to, causing a metallurgical change to the base material such as heat treating, forging or hardening processes; joining materials by welding, brazing, or other bonding process; or providing a coating or surface treatment such as cleaning, electropolishing, plating, painting, or anodizing.
