Special Initiative means activities to be performed by UNIDO, if applicable, as special initiative, approved by the Council as part of the GEF’s administrative budget;

Upon such verification and subject to the receipt of the information required in Annex E and the availability of resources in the GEF Trust Fund, the Trustee shall transfer to the UNIDO/GEF Fund the amount of funds requested for the Special Initiative or Administrative Budgets, as applicable.
