Spare Board Operator definition

Spare Board Operator means an Operator who does not receive an assigned shift during the Roster pursuant to APPENDIX “A”. The terms and conditions of the Spare Board Operator are defined in APPENDIX “A”.

Examples of Spare Board Operator in a sentence

  • Where a Spare Board Operator selects or is assigned to fill a temporary vacancy on a crew in accordance with Article H:11 of this Collective Bargaining Agreement it is agreed and understood that he/she shall then become a Regular Operator, Flex Shift Operator, Split Shift Operator, Steady Day Shift Operator and shall be subject to the normal daily hours of work and overall period of consecutive hours applicable to the selected or assigned crew guide.

  • The Daily Spare Board Operator shall be assigned either Saturday or Monday off.

  • The Spare Board Operator will return to other duties as directed by the Inspector.
