Software Open Source Components definition

Software Open Source Components means any open source software provided with or incorporated into the software provided with the Licensed Application, including any available under GNU Affero General Public License (AGPL), GNU General Public License (GNU), GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), Mozilla Public License (MPL), Apache License, BSD Licenses, or any other license that is approved by the Open Source Initiative. Any use of the Software Open Source Components is subject to and governed solely by the terms and conditions of the applicable open source license agreement.

Examples of Software Open Source Components in a sentence

For purposes of this Agreement, the term “Software” does not include Ancillary Software, Open Source Components, or Third Party Software.

Ancillary Software, Open Source Components and Third Party Software are provided on an “AS IS” basis.

Certain portions of the Software ("Open Source Components") are licensed under the terms of applicable open source licenses, such as the BSD license, Apache license, the Lesser GNU General Public License, the GNU General Public License or any other such license.

You acknowledge and understand that the Licensed Application includes Software Open Source Components.

Any use of the Software Open Source Components is subject to and governed solely by the terms and conditions of the applicable open source license agreement.

This EULA does not apply to any open-source software which may be included in the Software ("Open Source Components").

Related to Software Open Source Components

Open-Source Components means any software component that is subject to any open-source copyright license agreement, including any GNU General Public License or GNU Library or Lesser Public License, or other obligation, restriction or license agreement that substantially conforms to the Open Source Definition as prescribed by the Open Source Initiative or otherwise may require disclosure or licensing to any third party of any source code with which such software component is used or compiled.
Open Source Materials means software or other material that is distributed as “free software,” “open source software” or under similar licensing or distribution terms (including the GNU General Public License (GPL), GNU Lesser General Public License (LGPL), Mozilla Public License (MPL), BSD licenses, the Artistic License, the Netscape Public License, the Sun Community Source License (SCSL) the Sun Industry Standards License (SISL) and the Apache License).
Diagnostic source assembly means the tube housing assembly with a beam-limiting device attached.
Supplier Software means software which is proprietary to the Supplier or its Affiliates which is used or supplied by the Supplier in the provision of the Services; Supplier Staff means all persons employed or engaged by the Supplier together with the Supplier's servants, agents, suppliers, consultants and Sub-Contractors (and all persons employed by any Sub-Contractor together with the Sub-Contractor’s servants, consultants, agents, suppliers and Sub-Contractors) used in the performance of its obligations under this Contract;
Open Source Software means software with either freely obtainable source code, license for modification, or permission for free distribution.
Open Source Software License means the terms or conditions under which the Open Source Software is licensed.
Open Source Code means any software code that is distributed as “free software” or “open source software” or is otherwise distributed publicly in source code form under terms that permit modification and redistribution of such software. Open Source Code includes software code that is licensed under the GNU General Public License, GNU Lesser General Public License, Mozilla License, Common Public License, Apache License, BSD License, Artistic License, or Sun Community Source License.
Software Product means any COTS which you propose to provide pursuant to the contract.
Tyler Software means our proprietary software, including any integrations, custom modifications, and/or other related interfaces identified in the Investment Summary and licensed by us to you through this Agreement.
Developed Software means those computer software products that are developed by or through the use of the SOFTWARE. "Developed Web Server Software" means those Developed Software products that reside logically or physically on at least one Web Server and are operated (meaning the computer software instruction set is carried out) by the Web Server's central processing unit(s) (CPU). "Developed Legacy Software" means those Developed Software products that are not Developed Web Server Software, including, for example, stand-alone applications and applications accessed by a file server only. "Redistributable Files" means the SOFTWARE files or other portions of the SOFTWARE that are provided by C1 and are identified as such in the Documentation for distribution by you with the Developed Software. "Developer" means a human being or any other automated device using the SOFTWARE in accordance with the terms and conditions of this EULA.
Software Products means either those Airbus Software intended to be used on ground at the Licensee’s facilities or Airbus Software that are installed on board the Aircraft and that are not Part 125 and/or FAR 125 certified - whether or not bearing a part number of the Licensor - excluding any software embedded in any component, furnishing or equipment installed on the Aircraft and itself bearing a part number.
Contractor Software means software which is proprietary to the Contractor, including software which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.
Licensed Software includes error corrections, upgrades, enhancements or new releases, and any deliverables due under a maintenance or service contract (e.g., patches, fixes, PTFs, programs, code or data conversion, or custom programming).
Third Party Software means software which is proprietary to any third party (other than an Affiliate of the Contractor) which is or will be used by the Contractor for the purposes of providing the Services.
Server Software means software that provides services or functionality on a computer acting as a server.
Company Software means the Company Licensed Software and the Company Proprietary Software.
Application Software means Software formulated to perform specific business or technical functions and interface with the business or technical users of the System and is identified as such in Appendix 4 of the Contract Agreement and such other Software as the parties may agree in writing to be Application Software.
Source code for a work means the preferred form of the work for making modifications to it. For a library, complete source code means all the source code for all modules it contains, plus any associated interface definition files, plus the scripts used to control compilation and installation of the library.
Seller Software means any software (including firmware and other software embedded in hardware devices) owned, developed (or currently being developed), used, marketed, distributed, licensed or sold by the Seller at any time (other than non-customized third-party software licensed to the Seller for internal use on a non-exclusive basis).
Subject Software means the Original Software or Modifications or the combination of the Original Software and Modifications, or portions of any of the foregoing.
Open Source License means any license meeting the Open Source Definition (as promulgated by the Open Source Initiative) or the Free Software Definition (as promulgated by the Free Software Foundation), or any substantially similar license, including any license approved by the Open Source Initiative or any Creative Commons License. “Open Source Licenses” shall include Copyleft Licenses.
Embedded Software means any third party software which may contain Accessible Code or Protected Code licensed by Deswik from a third party and embedded in the Software.
Customer Software means software which is owned by or licensed to the Customer which is or will be used by the Supplier for the purposes of providing the Services;
Source Materials means uranium containing the mixture of isotopes occurring in nature; uranium whose content in uranium 235 is less than the normal; thorium; any of the foregoing in the form of metal, alloy, chemical compound or concentrate; any other substance containing one or more of the foregoing in such a concentration as shall be specified by the Council, acting by a qualified majority on a proposal from the Commission.
Customer Technology means Customer's proprietary technology, including Customer's Internet operations design, content, software tools, hardware designs, algorithms, software (in source and object forms), user interface designs, architecture, class libraries, objects and documentation (both printed and electronic), know-how, trade secrets and any related intellectual property rights throughout the world (whether owned by Customer or licensed to Customer from a third party) and also including any derivatives, improvements, enhancements or extensions of Customer Technology conceived, reduced to practice, or developed during the term of this Agreement by Customer.
Supported Software means the supported software identified in the Proposal. System means the designated information technology environment in which the Software is to be used.
