Soft tissue injury definition
Soft tissue injury means an injury that requires medical attention to a tissue that connects, supports, or surrounds other structures and organs of the body and includes tendons, ligaments, fascia, skin, fibrous tissues, fat, synovial membranes, muscles, nerves, and blood vessels.
Soft tissue injury. Soft tissue, such as ligaments and muscle may be stretched or torn during an adjustment. The result is a temporary increase in pain. However, there are no long term effects. These problems occur so rarely that there are no available statistics to quantify their probability.
Soft tissue injury means a contusion, a Sprain or Strain, or any of the following conditions: Bursitis; rotator cuff injury; epicondylitis (medial & lateral); patellofemoral syndrome; tarsal tunnel syndrome; carpal tunnel syndrome; tendonitis; stress fractures; shin splints; Chondromalacia; or Osgood-Schlatter’s Disease.
