Bidder may log in to the site through the secured login by the user id / password chosen during enrolment / registration and then by submitting the password of the e-Token / Smartcard to access DSC.
Then the Digital Signature Certificate (Class II or Class III Certificates with signing key usage) issued by SIFY / TCS / nCode / eMudra or any other Certifying Authority recognized by Controller of Certifying Authorities (CCA) India on eToken / Smartcard, should be registered.
So, the Smartcard Embedded Software will protect such data if required and use keys and functions appropriately in order to ensure the strength of cryptographic operation.
For e-tendering possession of valid Digital Signature Certificate (Class II or Class III Certificates with signing key usage) is mandatory which can be obtained from SIFY/TCS/nCode/eMudra or any Certifying Authority recognized by CCA India on eToken/ Smartcard.
Note that here the routines which may compromise keys when being executed are part of the Smartcard Embedded Software.
