Slopes definition

Slopes means such land, slopes, slope treatment works, boundary walls, retaining walls, earth-retaining structures, drainage and/or other structures (if any) within or outside the Lot which are required to be maintained by the Owners under the provisions of the Conditions including but not limited to the Green Hatched Black Area and (if capable of being shown on a plan) as shown coloured green hatched black on the "Slope Plan" certified as to their accuracy by the Authorized Person and annexed hereto.

Examples of Slopes in a sentence

  • Slopes stabilized using appropriate erosion control measure(s); e.g., rock reinforcement, planting of grass, compaction.

  • Slopes for cuts and fills shall not be steeper than 1 unit vertical in 2 units horizontal unless approved by the Owner.

  • Within RMZs, CMZs, WMZs, and Unstable Slopes, timber resources and ecological values are expected to remain the same under all alternatives because all alternatives (including the No Action Alternative) follow the Forest Practices Program and its adherence to current management regimes within these areas.

  • Slopes steeper than 3:1 must have concrete slope paving with 4 exposed aggregate surface.

  • At the termination of the proposed SHA and subject to any requirements of the Forest Practices Program and other applicable state and federal laws, Applicant may return Enrolled Lands to baseline conditions (i.e., continued protection of Occupied Sites, RMZs, CMZs, Wetland Maintenance Zones (WMZ), and Unstable Slopes to the same extent required by state forest practices rules and other applicable regulations).

Related to Slopes

  • Slope means the inclination of a surface expressed as one unit of rise or fall for so many horizontal units;

  • Mine drainage means any drainage, and any water pumped or siphoned, from an active mining area or a post-mining area. The abbreviation “ml/l” means milliliters per liter.

  • Dewatering means the removal of water for construction activity. It can be a discharge of appropriated surface or groundwater to dry and/or solidify a construction site. It may require Minnesota Department of Natural Resources permits to be appropriated and if contaminated may require other MPCA permits to be discharged.
