significant adverse impacts definition

significant adverse impacts means the significant adverse impacts referred to in paragraphs 17 to 20 of the FAO International Guidelines for the Management of Deep Sea Fisheries in the High Seas;
significant adverse impacts means impacts (evaluated individually, in combination or cumulatively) which compromise ecosystem integrity in a manner that impairs the ability of affected populations to replace themselves and that degrades the long-term natural productivity of habitats, or causes on more than a temporary basis significant loss of species richness, habitat or community types;
significant adverse impacts means a substantial or potentially substantial adverse change in the off-Reservation environment as a result of a Project as determined, to the extent possible, on scientific and factual data. Possible differences of expert opinions shall not alone require that the Tribe make a finding of Significant Adverse Impact.

  • Company Material Adverse Effect means any material adverse effect with respect to the Company, taken as a whole, or any change or effect that adversely, or is reasonably expected to adversely, affect the ability of the Company to maintain its current business operations or to consummate the transactions contemplated by this Agreement in any material respect.
